چکیده
The spread of multidrug-resistant bacteria poses a significant threat to human health. Plasma activated liquids (PAL) could be promising alternative for microbial decontamination, where different PAL can possess diverse antimicrobial efficacies and cytotoxic profiles, depending on the range concentration their reactive chemical species. In this research, biological activity plasma water (PAW) targets including both microbiological mammalian cells was investigated in vitro. aim further an understanding specific role distinct species, which is required tailor use applications high without adversely affecting biology eukaryotic cells. PAW generated by glow spark discharges, provide selective generation hydrogen peroxide, nitrite nitrate liquid. made either or discharges showed similar efficacy stability activity, despite very oxygen species (ROS) nitrogen profiles (RNS). However, trends were observed activities effects enzyme function, translated through generation. These findings indicate mechanisms action may exploited when tailoring various applications. A remarkable heat pressure noted with set up, broadens application potential. features also suggest that post modifications harnessed as means modulating chemistry, mode delivery functionalised liquids. Overall, these results how tuned candidate disinfectant agents biomedical bio-decontamination areas.

Modeling nonthermal plasmas generated in glow discharges*
Over the past decade, tremendous progress has been made in the modeling of nonthermal plasmas, and models have now reached the point that they are being used to help guide the experimental optimization of plasma based devices. In this communication we provide an overview of models used to describe nonthermal plasma generated in glow discharges. We show results from two applications, plasma disp...

متن کاملIntroduction to Low Pressure Glow Discharges for Semiconductor Manufacturing with special Emphasis on Plasma Etching
Plasma processing is one of the key technologies in the fabrication of modern silicon devices. It is applied to approximately one third of the several hundred fabrication steps. Plasma etching enables together with advanced lithography the high volume production of submicron structures. The significant difference to the formerly used wet etching in liquid chemicals is its ability to keep the ma...
متن کاملKinetics Mechanisms of High Electron Density Argon-Water Plasma Discharges
The plasma kinetics in He-H2O mixtures in diffuse atmospheric pressure glow discharges have been developed and partially validated [1]. However, the plasma kinetics in filamentary water-containing discharges, although ubiquitous for many applications, have not been studied in detail. A major difference between diffuse and filamentary plasmas is that the higher electron and ion density results i...
